JUVÉDERM® Cost and Financing
updated
The cost of JUVÉDERM® is dictated by several factors. These factors include your individual provider, and the market value of the service based upon the city in which you live. Read on for further information about what you can expect to pay for JUVÉDERM® treatment, and your financing options.
JUVÉDERM® Average Cost
The average cost of JUVÉDERM® is relatively reasonable, particularly when compared to more involved procedures such as plastic surgeries. JUVÉDERM® syringes come in different sizes to treat different areas of the face; smaller areas would, of course, require less product. For example, to treat smile lines around the lips, your dermatologist may require one or two syringes of JUVÉDERM®, costing approximately $450 to $600 per syringe. Finer lines - such as those immediately around the lip line - may be treated with smaller (and less expensive) syringes. If you’re considering JUVÉDERM®, the best way to determine the average cost in your area is to contact more than one dermatologist near you to discuss the price of treatment.
Price Comparisons – JUVÉDERM® vs. Other Fillers
The JUVÉDERM® average cost and that of Restylane® are very similar. JUVÉDERM® was recently approved by the FDA and is very similar to Restylane®; therefore, competition between the two products should keep the prices comparable. However, you may find the cost of JUVÉDERM® to be less than Restylane®, depending on where you are receiving your treatment. Hylaform® may cost a bit less than JUVÉDERM® and Restylane®, or you may find that it costs the same. All of the hyaluronic acid fillers are priced rather similarly.
RADIESSE® filler is a bit longer-lasting than JUVÉDERM® and the above-mentioned fillers, and it is therefore more expensive. RADIESSE® normally costs approximately $1,000 per syringe. Collagen products, such as CosmoDerm™, are slightly less expensive as compared to JUVÉDERM® and the other hyaluronic fillers; they average approximately $400 per treatment.
JUVÉDERM® Financing Options
Because JUVÉDERM® and other fillers are elective cosmetic procedures, they are usually not covered by an individual’s insurance plan. However, most dermatologists and plastic surgeons have financing plans available. These may take the form of payment plans, or credit available through financing options. A lack of immediate finances need not prevent you from enjoying the benefits of JUVÉDERM®! Additionally, note that the cost of JUVÉDERM® may be a tax-deductible medical expense for some patients.
